Hand Forged Talisman Jewelry for Personal Adornment

Welcome to my shop. I adore jewelry and love wearing and making it. When
I first started making jewelry I made what I thought other people would
like. This was fine, but I realized recently that I have more fun in the studio when I make things I like. Most of the items are one of a kind. I do not typically make production pieces. So, if you like my wearable art too, bonus!

I make everything in my home studio in Akron, Ohio. My jewelry ranges from hand formed copper and brass to sterling silver to glass beads and even aluminum stamped personalized cuffs made to order.

My art pieces are handmade. Variation is expected due to the handmade
nature of these items. Each item is a beautifully unique one of a kind
piece of art. With made to order items, your piece will differ from the
sample photograph.

Most of the beads that you see here have been hand Lampworked by me, other than small fill in beads. Because my beads are handmade
one-at-a-time, each bead is unique from any another (sets are similar
but not exact). Sizes and shape may vary slightly. I combine my glass
beads with other materials to make a finished wearable piece of jewelry.

Lampworking has been around for thousands of years. The Egyptians used
small furnaces to create glass beads around 5000 years ago. I use a gas
lampwork torch and soft glass (Effetre) rods to make my glass art.
Every piece has been annealed in a kiln for strength, beauty and durability, and each bead is cleaned using a bead reamer.

Many of the filler beads used in my designs come from my travels around the globe to places such as Cameroon, Mali, Belize, Kenya and Egypt.

All lampworked beads are thoroughly examined for any flaws or imperfections with only the best being made available for sale.
